This session explores how Indigenous foods can be introduced to infants in ways that honor both cultural traditions and evidence-based feeding guidelines. Participants will examine the nutritional value of traditional foods, discuss responsive feeding practices, and learn practical approaches to safely incorporate Indigenous foods into infant diets. Case studies and discussion will encourage reflection on how dietitians can respectfully support families while promoting food sovereignty and cultural identity.
